"Father, forgive them," You cried out loud,
In Your pain, You showed us how.
"Today, you’ll be with Me," You said to the thief,
In Your mercy, we find relief.
"Behold your mother," You took care of her,
In Your suffering, love would stir.

Each word a treasure, each breath a gift,
In the darkest hour, our spirits lift.
With every whisper, truth is revealed,
Your heart of compassion, forever sealed.

Oh, words from the cross, echo through time,
In Your sacrifice, we find our rhyme.
With love and hope, You set us free,
In the shadows, You’re all we see.

In Your anguish, our pain was drawn.
"I thirst," You spoke, a cry for the lost,
